HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's a great time to reset your metabolism.  Join the group for the 21 Day Metabolism Makeover.  It doesn't matter if you are new to the community or been here a while like myself, this is for you!  You can reset your metabolism to burn fat instead of storing it by making small sensible changes.  In 21 days you will be burning pounds and inches.  All you have to do is click to join and I recommend you subscribe to the group as well so you can get notifications when there is a new post.  We will begin Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017.  Lets do this!

    DAY 21 - CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS! - Today you can weigh and measure. No matter how much you have lost... you can rest assure that you have reset your metabolism from storing fat to burning fat. You now know the foundation of the lifestyle. You have accomplished something the last 3 wks that can literally change your life. You now know how to eat the foods you love without worrying about gaining weight. So put it to work... move forward to FL's for life and continue to see the results. Congratulations!! Now let me know how many inches and pounds you released so we can get a group total. No more diets!!

    DAY 20 - MAKE A MEAL FOR A FRIEND - This can be a family member or co-worker. Someone in the community posted that she had packed a Fat Loss lunch for a coworker last week. The coworker was amazed she could have mac n cheese! Prepare the meal but don't let them know until after the fact that it was a Food Lovers Fat Loss Plate. I did this a couple of year ago with Thanksgiving. I hosted our family meal and every dish was tweaked down to the pecan pie. My mother said she believed it was the best meal I had ever prepared. Then I told her it was all FL approved. She was amazed. Since we are nearing the end of the 21 day metabolism makeover you should be ready to branch out and enter into FL's for life. Today is a great test to check yourself on your own understanding of the lifestyle. If you feel you are unsure of any area...post me a question or send me a private message. This should soon just be 2nd nature to you and the way you do things. It's a lifestyle.

    DAY 19 - AVOID CALORIE BOMBS - Again, educating yourself on how to read a nutrition label and knowing the ingredients to avoid, will help you in reaching your goal. Not to mention improving your health. Think about the breakdown of everything you eat today. What are the total calories in the foods you prepare...how much protein and carbs and especially sugar. After reviewing your choices then decide if they are the best choice. On FL's we don't "count calories" per meal but it is wise to mindful of the them. Even a salad can be a calorie bomb is it is loaded w/ fatty dressing and toppings. Become a Label Detective...it will pay off!

    DAY 18 - EXERCISE FOR 36 MIN. - Crank it up! Pick an activity/workout you enjoy and go a little longer. Alternate between cardio and resistance every other day. On cardio days keep your heart rate up. This simple schedule will help you maximize your fat loss. While exercise is beneficial in reaching your goal...unless you have the proper meal plan in place your efforts will not get you where you want to be. The eating plan is the foundation of the FL lifestyle.

    DAY 17 - EAT ONLY THE FOODS YOU LOVE - That is why I have been able to say this lifestyle is my "norm" now. It's 2nd nature... going into my 5th year I can honestly say I have never felt deprived. You can make anything you enjoy work in a fat loss plate or snack. If you don't feel deprived you can have success. DIETS deprive you... Food Lover's gives you freedom from diets.
